- I am a forty-something mom/English teacher on leave married to my best friend, Richard. Isabel joined our family, which includes three cats--Crazy, Mocha, and Cookie--on May 6, 2008. After an agonizing three year wait, Madeleine finally became a part of our clan on June 29, 2009.

What great pictures of your girls. Glad everything went well at Shriners. Maddie will be running around with Isabel before long. How exciting. The walker is cute. Glad she took to it easily. Will Isabel be going to school also or just Maddie this year? Have a great labor day weekend.

Maddie looks really good with the walker. It will be wonderful when she has her prosthetic leg to get around.
Those are bingo marker things -- aren't they? Too funny. I never thought about them for kids.

They are too cute.
They are just like the bingo markers, but these are made for kids, so they are non-toxic and washable. They are called Do-a-Dot paints. We got ours at Creative Kidstuff, but I believe you can find them in all sorts of places.
Those are such great pictures. I love the look of concentration on their faces as they create their masterpieces! Too cute!
