- I am a forty-something mom/English teacher on leave married to my best friend, Richard. Isabel joined our family, which includes three cats--Crazy, Mocha, and Cookie--on May 6, 2008. After an agonizing three year wait, Madeleine finally became a part of our clan on June 29, 2009.

I'm telling ya... there is something about turning 5. You can get a glimpse into the grown ups they will be one day. Daddy, lock the door, because Maddie is one gorgeous girl! So glad you all had fun.
